Aloha Pontoon Boats -
From Waco Craft pontoon boats to Alaho pontoons this pontoon boat manufacturer starting building pontoon boats in 1960. There are thousands of used Waco Craft pontoon boats throughout the United States and this builder of luxury pontoon boats was the first to introduce two popular innovations to the pontoon boat industry. The first was the "upper sundeck" which allowed pontoon boat owners to add a second level to their pontoon boats. These walk on hardtops or upper sundecks allowed you add valuable space for sunbathing. Many older used pontoon boats used aluminum hardtops instead of the more commonly used bimini style or canopy pontoon tops found on today's newer pontoon boats. Waco Craft was the first to take the idea of an aluminum hardtop on a pontoon boat to the next level and build a structurally sound upper deck on a pontoon boat.
Waco Craft (Aloha Pontoon Boats) was also the first pontoon boat manufacturer to manufacturer and install a sundeck cushion enclosure over an outboard engine and fuel compartment. What we see on the majority of new pontoon boats was created by this savy pontoon boat manufacturer and the sundeck cushion is now standard on almost all brands of pontoon boats for sale today. Aloha prides itself in providing a luxury pontoon boat with great customer service. While this pontoon boat manufactuer is not one of the largest builders of pontoon boats today, it is one of the oldest pontoon manufacturers and has provided a quality product since the company was founded. Today, Aloha offers 23 models of pontoon boats to choose from and was selected as the "Best Built" award winner by Pontoon & Deck Boat Magazine for the best built pontoon boat in the United States.

Weeres Pontoon Boats
Weeres Industries Corporation is the oldest manufacturer of pontoon boats in the United States. The company's founder, Ambrose Weeres, constructed the first pontoon boat in 1951. Since that time Weeres Industries, located in central Minnesota, has built and sold more than 30,000 pontoon boats. Although Weeres is primarily an American company, its pontoons are afloat across the Atlantic on the Nile and Thames rivers, and in Sweden's Stockholm harbor. The company sells high quality pontoons exclusively through dealers in 20 states. Weeres pontoons range in size from the simple four-person, 16-foot fishing model to a 28-foot, luxury tri-toon that can accommodate 30 people. Weeres Industries also manufactures fiberglass offshore fishing boats through its subsidiary brands Palm Beach and Key Largo. In addition to the St. Cloud headquarters, Weeres operates Palm Beach Marinecraft in New Ulm, Minnesota, and Marine Manufacturing Corporation in Douglas, Georgia. Weeres also builds and sells swimming rafts and paddleboats, which account for about 5 percent of the company's business.
